To celebrate this cinematic masterpiece, we are thrilled to reveal a very special collaboration. For the film’s Japanese promotion, our team at Sueko Oshimoto was commissioned to create and style a one-of-a-kind, custom Kimono for the man of the hour: Glenn Powell.

The Setting: A High-Stakes Transformation in Beverly Hills The venue was a private floor of a legendary luxury hotel in Beverly Hills. The atmosphere was electric. This was the official media junket where every second counted. Glen’s schedule was packed tight, managed down to the minute. Sueko and Kentaro stepped into the suite with one mission: to dress the star in an authentic Kuro-Montsuki (black formal kimono) that would command the screen. Glen was an absolute gentleman, making the high-pressure styling session a seamless and joyful experience.

The Craft: Precision in Every Stitch The challenge? Integrating the iconic "Running Man" logo into the traditional fabric. We searched for the finest professional embroiderer in the city to ensure the logo was rendered with cinematic precision. Sueko meticulously calculated the embroidery angle so it would sit perfectly straight while Glenn was standing for the cameras.

It was a race against time—the embroidery was completed just two days before the shoot. Seeing it all come together was a moment of pure relief and pride.

The Connection: A Gift to Remember What moved us most was Glen’s genuine reaction. When we gifted him the Kimono at the end of the day, he was visibly touched. He told us, “I’m going to frame this and hang it in my home!”

この特別な瞬間を祝して、私たちが手がけた「舞台裏」の物語を皆さんにシェアします。実は、日本向けプロモーション動画（YouTubeで公開中）でグレン氏が着用しているのは、押元須上子チームが制作・着付けを担当した特注の黒紋付なのです。

ビバリーヒルズの緊密な空気の中で

撮影が行われたのは、ビバリーヒルズにある超高級ホテルのワンフロア（貸切）。各メディアが詰めかける熱気の中、グレン氏のスケジュールは分刻みで管理されていました。一分の隙も許されない状況下、押元と寺内の二人で着付けを行いました。驚いたのは、グレン氏の温かい人柄です。多忙な中でも終始笑顔で、私たちの仕事に敬意を払ってくれたことで、最高の仕上がりを実現できました。

伝統の紋付に「映画のロゴ」を刻む挑戦

今回のハイライトは、伝統的な黒紋付に映画のロゴを刺繍するという大胆な試みです。最高峰の刺繍職人を探し出し、いかに精巧にロゴを再現できるか、試行錯誤を繰り返しました。特に、グレン氏が立った際にロゴが完璧な水平になるよう、刺繍の角度にはミリ単位でこだわりました。納品されたのは撮影のわずか2日前。ギリギリのスケジュールでしたが、完璧な出来栄えに胸をなでおろしたのを覚えています。

映画の世界観を壊さないよう、ロゴの再現性と配置角度に1mm単位でこだわりました。
